Market Holiday Trading Schedule
Keep on top of all upcoming market holidays sessions with our easy-to-read guide - and see if your instruments will be affected! If you don't see your instruments in the table below, that means you can trade as normal.
The Scope Markets platform operates during specific hours from Monday 00:00:51 to Friday 23:59:59 Server time. Server time may be adjusted for Daylight Saving Time (DST), which starts on the last Sunday of March and ends on the last Sunday of October.
Just before the market opens, the Trading Desk updates rates to reflect current market prices in preparation for the opening. During this time, trades and orders held over the weekend can be executed. However, we should remind you that quotes during this period cannot be used for new market orders. After the market opens, you can open new trades, make changes and cancel existing orders.
Please be aware that in the initial hours after the market opens, liquidity tends to be lower until the Tokyo and London market sessions begin. These less liquid markets may lead to wider spreads and a higher chance of orders being filled at a price different from the requested one due to fewer buyers and sellers. This is mainly because during the first few hours after the market open, it is still the weekend in many parts of the world.
